Little man loves bubbles. When he’s in the bath he loves playing with the bubbles and scooping them into his hand. This weekend we decided to buy him a bubble machine.
He loves it and asks me constantly for it to be on. Have to be careful though as it makes our floor so slippery.

I am running a competition with Sainsburys Bank Car Insurance where you can win £25 Sainsburys voucher.
Recently Sainsburys came up with a fantastic Taxi of mum and Dad calculator. It shows you how much money you would have earnt taxing your kids around had you had a meter running.
I am sure as parents your kids are always asking to be taken here and taken there. So what would you spent your time if you wasn’t taking the kids everywhere. Would you relax in the sun we currently have, read a book, housework or maybe paint your nails.
So what do you need to do to enter the competition I hear you asking?

Good luck to all of you
A few years ago I tried to do some simple Origami and I didn’t do very well with it. So when I got the chance to review Popagami I thought I would give it a go and see what happens.
I was sent an Animal fun activity book. Included is 12 different animals Including Cleo the Cat, Monty the mountain Lion and Teddy the Tiger. Below shows how the animals look before they are folded. They come as flat thin sheets as glossy paper ready to be folder into a little animal.
The different Animals that are included
Me not being the best at this sort of thing was worried about how I would get on. I opened the booklet that shows you how to fold each animal. Each animal is folder the exact same. I started to do my folds and follow the booklet and at one point I got very stuck. Luckily I was with my mum at the time who had a look and showed me how it was done. Once you have folded your first animal it really is very easy. If you are really struggling there is a video on the website.
Booklet showing you how to fold
This is great way to spend time with the children and once they have finished folding the animal they have something which they have made. Now my Little Man is too small to do this and I would say that a child aged 4.5 years + would suit this very well. The child may not be able to follow the instructions at that age but they can fold with an adult who can let me follow each step.
I have taken a couple of pictures to you show the folding of the animals at a couple of different stages. One you have folded the animal to the finish, there is a little hole in the back which you blow in, this blows the animal out and you will then have your finished animal.
Part folded animals
From starting to fold to being finished took us about 7-8 minutes. I really like these animals and they it is a great was to keep the kids entertained.
The animals me and my mum made
There are other different animals that you can buy. If you would think that your children would love this, take a look at the website and make your choice of what you would like to buy HERE.
The book of animals we were sent retails at £7.99 which I think is really good value. You get 2 sheets of each animal for this price and it is good fun folding and seeing the finished animal. You can also download from the website from 20p and print off your own animals at home which I think is a great idea.
When I was given the opportunity to review a new flavour of Shloer I jumped at the chance as I absolutely love it. The new flavour is Raspberry and rhubarb Punch. Let me say it was absolutely delicious.
The new flavour of Shloer
I do like rhubarb but before I tried the drink I wasn’t to sure how much I would like this flavour. I tried it as soon as it was delivered to me as I couldn’t wait. It was lovely, the raspberry can be tasted first and then after you have swallowed the rhubarb can be tasted. I absolutely love this new flavour and I am not the only one.
Shloer is a great drink for children who like to feel grown up for occasions such as family meals. I drank so much Shloer when I was pregnant and we went to friends houses. What I love about this drink is…. 1. The flavour and 2. it is free from artificial colours, flavours preservatives and sweeteners.
Little Man drinking the Shloer
I would give this drink a massive 5 out of 5. I love the flavour and so does Little Man and the other half. Lots of little things make this drink a fantastic non alcoholic drink.
As you may know i work on a Thursday and Friday. On a Thursday little man goes to Nursery, which he loves. Untill yesterday!!
It was 1500 and my phone rang, it came up with the Nursery. Now when ever the nursery call me I panick as I know there is something wrong. They only call me if there is something wrong. I answered and they said we are calling to let you know that little man has been bitten today. I straight away though they ment an insect bite. No how wrong was I, they ment bitten by another child. They said he had got very upset (which you would if your bitten) but he was now OK and they just wanted to let me know. All I wanted to do was go and give my little man a cuddle, but I couldn’t as I was at work. For the rest of the working day I couldn’t concentrate as I was so angry.
Eventually I finished work and went to get my little man. The nursery advised me that the child who bit little man had been informed and it had been noted down on the childs file. The nursery told me how they dealt with the situation which I was happy with what they did and think they dealt with it really well, doesnt stop me being very very angry about it all. Little man knows biting is bad and he’s always been taught that it is bad and not to do it.
What upset me even more was the fact the nursery told me that little man was playing with a toy and the other child wanted it, little man said no and the other child bit him. So my little man got bit for playing with a toy which he had first and was playing with.
I am (as you can prob tell) so very angry and I know it is not the nursery’s fault, I am not blaming them at all. Just makes me angry and upset that my little ma has been hurt on a place on his arm which is sensitive.
He got lots of bg hugs and kisses last night. I just hope he now doesnt think this is the right thing to do and do it himself.
