For a few months now on a Sunday, my partner and I plan our meals for the week. We decided what we are going to have each night and stick to it.
The last couple of weeks we have forgotten to do it, and the week was a disaster. We ended up having fish and chips and a takeaway. We got in at 1800 after picking little man up from nursery, we were so tired had nothing to really eat in the fridge, and then got a takeaway. Homemade chicken and mushroom Pie, with new potatoes
marinated chicken with roast veg and Rice.
The roast veg we have is red/yellow pepper, courgette, cherry tomatoes, red onion and mushrooms.
Jacket potato with tuna mayo filling and salad.
We are away this weekend so Friday and Saturday we have no meal plan.
A lovely roast when we get home
I find this is a great way to work, it saves us a load of money. I know exactly what I am buying for the week from the shops. There is no rushing about when we get in from work.
